SITE : WESTERN ROAD CEMETERY LOCATED AT THE WESTERN ROAD ,PENANG ISLAND.

it’s the largest Christian cemetery on the island of Penang.it’s a tranquil and peaceful site with Pre-war graves, ten war graves, navy , air force , Malaya police and with private memorial scattered around . there are a lot of Lush green trees provide shade for the shades .the nearest tourist spot youth park just side by side behind the cemetery .there is a large area of green lush behind the cemetery also giving the cemetery a emotion of calmness.

History:: the western road cemetery buried the ten war graves; a mixture of Commission standard headstones and private memorials, are scattered around the site but the majority can be found to the right of the central drive, left of the right hand drive, approximately halfway up the cemetery. Two graves can be found to the left of the central drive approximately the same distance along. The Service Dependant’s graves are buried in random locations in the cemetery.
