BIO

Germán Spahr is a young architect from Bariloche who attended Universidad de Mendoza, in Argentina.

His experience as a traveler brought him a very rich background of lifestyles, having lived in particularly iconic cities like Bariloche, Algiers, Cairo, and Mendoza, acting as a very rich source of inspiration and experiences.

Continuously seeking fertile creativity grounds since a young age, and going through most of art’s variants, he found in architecture an ideal medium to express ideas and feelings, along with a touch of crazy. His other interests in life are foreign languages and geeky science.

His goal in architecture is to strive for an integral design process which results in quality of space and identity.

He tends to choose integrity over originality, but will always to try to achieve a balance between the two.

He firmly believes in the scientific method of trial and error, which ultimately models his designs little by little as generations develop, almost in a Darwinian sense. Thus adding a non-linear process that makes to a more refined and organic relationship with its natural environment and built surroundings.
