Shock-resistant 14mm rubber flooring as installed

The “Universidad Santo Tomás” one of the most ancient universities in Colombia, saw the need for improving one of its sport facilities at the sports campus located in northern Bogotá. With a surface of about 200 sqm, the cutting and installation of the shock-resistant flooring took only three days, production of rubber tiles took 10 working days.

The use of this flooring improved two essential aspects of the gym:

Acoustics: less echo as well as less noise as caused by the machines and equipment impact.

Safety: As the former flooring was slippery under dry conditions the chance of an accident due to the presence of moisture was important. The rubber flooring gives users a consistent grip under most usage conditions.
