How much does it cost to have an archcase portfolio?
A basic archcase account is 100% free (and will always be!). With a basic account you’ll get your unique portfolio URL to start sharing your work.
Can I have an archcase portfolio even if I’m not an architect?
Anyone can have an archcase portfolio, however archcase aims to be an architecture community, so architects, architecture students, interior designers, etc. will be able to make the most of it, while someone who has nothing to do with this world might find the platform doesn’t fulfill all their needs. That being said, anyone who wants to join and share their work is welcome to join!
How many projects and pages can I create with a free account?
As many as you want!
What’s the difference between a page and a project?
A project is every work you want to include in your portfolio, every school exercise, professional work, etc. A project usually has a beginning and an end and ends up with a finished product (hopefully!).
A page on the other hand is more like a white canvas to share some extra information about yourself. Some example of pages you may want to create are; About, Contacto, CV, Philosophy, etc.
What file formats are supported?
We support images in JPG, JPEG, PNG and GIF.
Can I upload high-res files to my projects with a free account?
Absolutely, you can upload files with any resolution you want as long as they don’t exceed 8MB each. This applies for both basic and premium accounts.
Can I change the CSS or HTML of a premium theme?
No. Some may think this is unfair, even dictatorial, but we want to avoid what in design is known as “the MySpace effect” were users, who are not designers, have complete freedom to personalize their profiles, most of the times making them quite hard to understand.
You focus on what you do best and let us worry about web design. We’ll offer you plenty of themes to choose from (and we’ll keep adding more every week), all well designed, with no bugs and fully responsive!
If I renew my premium account before it expires, will I lose the days I have left from my previous payment?
Absolutely not! You can renew your premium account at any time without losing any remaining premium days you have on your account. When you renew your subscription we’ll simply add 365 days to your expiration date, not the current date.
